We at GIRATEC are pleased that you are visiting our website and that you are interested in our company. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Personal data is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. We will only collect, process and store your personal data to process inquiries and, if necessary, to process orders/contracts. Only if you have previously given your consent separately will your data also be used for further purposes that are precisely defined in the consent, e.g. for information about offers via newsletter, etc..
 

1. Pseudonymized use of the website

In principle, you can visit our website without giving us any personal data. Pseudonymized usage data is not merged with the data of the bearer of the pseudonym. A creation of pseudonymous user profiles does not take place.
 

2. Special functions of the website

Our site offers you various functions which we use to collect, process and store personal data. Below we explain what happens to this data:

* Contact forms
We will only use the data recorded via our contact forms (“Contact”, “Personal advice”, “Callback service”, “Seen cheaper?”) to process inquiries that come in through the contact forms. After the request has been processed, the data collected will be deleted within six months.

* Login area:
You have the option of using a separate login area on our website. If you have forgotten your password or your user name for this area, you have the option of having this data sent to you again after you have entered your contact details (e-mail address). The usage data generated as part of the use of the login area is only collected, stored and processed by us to combat misuse and eliminate faults or to maintain functionality. It will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties. The data collected as part of the 'Forgotten user name or password' function is only used to send forgotten access data again.

* Newsletter:
The data recorded in the registration form for our newsletter is used by us exclusively for sending our newsletter, in which we provide information about all of our services. After registration, we will send you a confirmation e-mail containing a link that you must click to complete the registration for our newsletter (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link. Your data will be deleted by us within six months after you unsubscribe. We will also delete your data within six months if you have not completed your registration.
 

3. Data transfer / earmarking

We collect, process and store the following data when you access this website or individual files on the website: IP address, website from which the file was accessed, name of the file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and notification of success of retrieval (so-called web log).
